Lord Na:ra:yana of Melkote proved the greatness of Ra:ma:nuja through a dream
showing the way for Ra:ma:nuja’s future when he was staying at Thondanu:r; and

further descending as the beloved Son of Ra:ma:nuja namely Sampath-Kuma:ra.

Ya:muna:cha:rya, when he was at Ka:nchipuram on a visit, saw Ra:ma:nuja who

was under Ve:da:ntha training under Ya:davapraka:sa, pointed out to his disciples:
“Look, He will be the supreme leader of our faith.”

Govinda Bhattar (Emba:r) counselled Para:sara Bhattar: Oh dear son, do not ever speak boastfully that

you are the son of Lord Sri Rangana:tha or Ku:re:sa’s son. Faith in Ra:ma:nuja alone can & will save
you.

Among incarnations of God, those of Sri Ra:ma and Sri Krushna are special and notable. Among
sages, those of Vya:sa, Para:sara, Suka and Saunaka are special and notable. Among holy places of
pilgrimage, those of Sri Rangam, Tirumala, Kanchi and Melkote are special and notable. Among great
saints, that of Sri Namma:lwa:r (Sri Sathako:pa Muni) is special and notable. Among a:cha:rya:s, that
of Ra:ma:nuja is special and notable.
